About Us

The Carol Rotella Foundation came to life in memory of my sister. It has been a long process, but it is something we strongly believe in. We must spread the word about this deadly disease and find a cure.

In October of 2005, my sister, Carol was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. At the time we didn’t know much about the disease. My sister fought the good fight; however, she lost her courageous battle in April 2009. It is my goal and desire to bring awareness and funding for this disease. The Carol Rotella Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization, came to life in memory of my sister. My hope is to become an advocate for ovarian cancer awareness and to raise funds needed to find a cure. With your help we can accomplish this goal.

The Carol Rotella Foundation is dedicated to the pursuit of accurate early detection testing and a cure for ovarian cancer. Our charter will be to increase public awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer in an effort to give knowledge, hope, encouragement, inspiration, and comfort to those currently diagnosed or living with ovarian cancer. The Carol Rotella Foundation will provide critical funding for ovarian cancer research initiatives that will focus on accurate early detection and a cure for ovarian cancer.

The Foundation is an organization of hope, encouragement, inspiration, and support for those battling ovarian cancer and their families.
